THE HISTORY
1979: HELMAC is founded by a group of technicians with years of experience in a historical scales company. In the following years, starting to produce electronics, software and scales for the main Italian manufacturers..
1994: Realization of the first series of electronic counter scales HC, CE approved under the HELMAC brand.
1996: HELMAC scales are sold with success in the main European countries (France,Spain,Germany,Greece).
2003: Realization of the first scales ,series GP, with new 32 bit microprocessor. innovative technological and comunication solutions.
2005: Realization of the automatic labelling scales (series ALM).
2007: New Electronics scales GPE series with radio connections and long life battery.
2008: HELMAC inaugurates a new software development department for the integration with the customer software.
2009: HELMAC starts selling cash register and pos systems.
2009: Agreement with ISHIDA for the italian market distribution of UNI7 touch screen scales.
2010: Helmac is acquired by the company DINI ARGEO active in the production of scales for the industry and trade with a distribution and assistance network present in over 70 countries worldwide.
2011: HELMAC starts to distribute the wm-nano wrapping machine.
2015: Helmac develops collaboration agreements with important groups of the Organized Distribution, with the latest models of scales for the supermarket with color display.
2018: Exclusive distribution of Ishida WM-Ai automatic wrappers throughout Italy.
2020: Launch of the new line of GP series scales with 10' TFT color display and Linux operating system.
2023: New touch screen scales with Linux operating system expand Helmac's range.
TODAY: the continuous development of the products, the staff, the quality of assistance have led Helmac to be one of the protagonists of Retail in Italy and in Europe. The success of Helmac is linked to the strength of over 600 specialized retailers in Europe who, believing in the company's products, have created an installed park that exceeds 100,000 units.
